一年了，One Year Passed!

时间过得真快，一年了！

你离开我一年了！

Turn 17 today! Happy 17th Birthday to me !

Looking back at these old photos taken during my past Birthdays...

I miss everything.

I miss wearing princess gown and blow off candles.

I miss dad holding me.

I miss dad standing beside me.

I miss you, dad!

Many might not know how did I actually celebrated my sweet 16.

Looking at that table, I guess you know is in a hospital.

This was my sweet 16 birthday in the hospital.

With 1901, Starbucks and a slice of cake bought from the hospital Cafeteria.

A box of Strawberry from the supermarket nearby the hospital.

Last year this time, I am celebrating my birthday in a hospital as DAD was sick.

I guess... this is the first time dad not buying any present for me.

But best present I received is that dad was allowed to discharge from the hospital on the same day.

It is also my last birthday with dad around!

Today, Princess Kiu Yik Chiaw is turing 17.

Dad's not here anymore but in my heart always and forever.

Bro's not in the country, but doing something making our family proud.

Mom's beside me always.

No matter how happy and sad I ever been through, I can't change!

I am going to make my future better!

I want to make dad, mom and bro proud of me!

I love my family :)

No one can hurt them!

Thanks mom and dad for bringing me to the world 17 years ago and gave me so much love!

I proudly announce your youngest daughter, me, is finally turning 17!

17 years old means I am allowed to learn driving.

Yay!

I am glad that I didn't have a nightmare being 17 as I am not chosen for NS.

I am done with High School + Days in Cempaka

Finally, around 15 minutes ago, I'm done with high school!

I finished the last paper for IGCSE!

Yay!

Can you believe it?

Around 2 weeks ago, middle of our IGCSE, all Cempaka Damansara International Stream Super Seniors (all my classmates) are called back for the "Class of 2011" day held in Cempaka Damansara! It's actually the testimonial day. Usually testimonial day is the graduation day for us because it will be the last school event that we are going to attend before taking the official exam. Unfortunately, we're called back only in the middle of our exam. Don't ask me why... I don't know why!

Oh dear, I graduated from High School!

Can't believe I am done with it!

I spent 5 years in the this school, Cempaka Damansara!

Lower secondary in national stream and Upper secondary in international stream.

Looking back, my high school's life actually not that bad!

Pictures tells a thousand words!

I used it for my last 3 years in high school.

I am in Green House.

In Cempaka, it's called "Seladang" which means bulls.

I actually skipped 4 Sports days among 5 schooling years.

Haha!

I know I am bad.

I really hates the sun!

Since this year is my last high school year, I actually participated something.

I participated Tug Of War which no needs to stay under the sun for long time.

Just pull, thats it!

Only game that no needs of training!

But, we won the CHAMPION!

Haha!

I am in Year 11 Cempaka this year.

We're the first batch to sit for IGCSE from the Damansara Campus.

We are the Super Seniors!

I really enjoys silly jokes my classmates and teacher makes.

I wish all of us can score straight A* for IGCSE.

I love singing.

In cempaka, I get so many chances to perform on stage.

I even perform for a disney official licensed musical in school.

Although I am just part of the Vocal Ensemble and not the main actress, I am happy enough.

At least I don't need to memorise dance steps and stuff.

Furthermore, Vocal Ensemble works as a team and allows me to make so much friends.

I believe no other school will do the same.

I am glad that our school actually do have lots of good Performing Arts teachers.

I learn so much and have so much fun performing on stage.

School tour is not just side-seeing.

We Jungle-trek, Fly flying-fox, explore caves, catch fishes and many more.

It is fun as you don't only see things but do and play things.

This is the last event in school for us before we start fully focus on study.

We're allowed to jump in to the pool with our uniform!

We hold our teammates hand and jump into the pool!

The loser team among 4 houses jump in the pool first, follow by the 3rd place, 2nd and 1st.

It is the funnest event in school I can say.

If you never experienced this ever, don't call yourself a CEMPAKAN!

Friends!

I made so many friends in Cempaka.

Although all friends in these pictures above are girls, I need to say I do make friends who is a boy.

My school is a co-educational school.

I just feel it is not that good to post photo of me and a boy on my blog...

Just to prevent people tease me with that!

Well, friends, I will miss them for sure!

We see each other everyday for the past 5 years and not going to see each other everyday anymore.

How I wish we can all go to the same college and university...

Unfortunately, we can't!

Well, I wish we can keep in touch forever, please don't forget me :)

Early in the morning, my classmate shouted that Steve Jobs is dead!

I mean... why cursing people early in the morning?

She say it is reported in CNN!

I was like WHAT...CNN?

I went directly to apple.com and I saw the picture of Steve Jobs in black and white.

I knew... it was true.

I need to admit that I used to be a Microsoft, Window, Nokia and Panasonic CD Player user.

But now, I am totally changed.

I uses Mac, iWork, iPhone and iPod!

I'll never look at technology the same again.

Because, once you go Mac, there's no going back.

2006, I got my first iPod nano.

I didn't even pay a penny for that!

I redeemed it with my dad's credit card's point.

I have to admit that, I really don't know what is an iPod at that time.

I am only 12 then.

I thought it sounds so pro, I should have it!

So, I got it.

When I first got the box, I thought that the iPod was a controller.

I keep searching the iPod!

I wonder why they give me a controller but not an iPod.

So, I decided to read the papers came along with the box.

And I realise that the more or less my air-cond controller size thing is the iPod.

I know you're scolding me a STUPID.

2007, I got my first MacBook.

This is my first personal laptop.

I am glad that, I am a Cempakan and MacBook is a must for my batch!

So, mom have to buy it for me.

Everyone in the school uses Mac!

We looks so cool!

But, I dislike it because using Mac disallow us to install illegal software.

Hah.

I knew you do it too.

But, slowly, I fall in love with it until I don't know how to use normal PC anymore.

2009, I got my second iPod Nano.

Dad bought this for me during CNY trip to Macau.

This time, I am so happy because this iPod can support video.

This one is slimmer than the first iPod I have, which means better!

But, most important is that it is in PINK!

2009, I got my first iPhone 3Gs.

Maxis, the only service provider who offer iphone in Malaysia that time collaborate with my school.

As Cempakan, we are offered with much cheaper price.

Therefore, my daddy decided to buy one for me.

I am still using it now.

2009, I got my first MacBook Pro.

Dad gave it to me right after PMR to appreciate my hardworking-ness in Study.

I know you're jealous!

This is also the device I am using now to update the blog.

Steve Jobs is a legend.

He created so many things that I would feel uncomfortable to not use it in daily basis.

I wish he is still alive so he could create more things for more people to use!

But, we must face the reality.

He is gone, gone too soon.

On the other hand,

Looks like, dad have a new friend coming.

I wish Steve could meet my dad in heaven and be friends. :)

More or less 20 days till IGCSE

It's been a month since I last updated my blog. What a Lazy blogger!

Finally, around more or less 20 days, I am going to sit for my official IGCSE.
Time Flies, I am going to say bye to high school soon.

This is my timetable for IGCSE!
Last year, I taken 2 subjects which are
1. Malay as Foreign Language
2. Mandarin as Foreign Language
And, I scored A* for both subjects!
Oh...Yeah! *victory*

This year, I am taking 6 subjects which are
1. Physics
2. Biology
3. Maths
4. Add-Maths
5. Business Studies
6. English as First Language
I dropped Chemistry and IT.

So in total, I still have 8 subjects!

Fortunately, my last paper scheduled on the 18th of November which is one day before my 17th BURSTDAY!
Yay!
Which means that I finish the exam right on time and I can enjoy my Birthday!!!
BTW, pls prepare my present! :P
